We ended Christmas Eve with Dada reading Lucas ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. I wish we would have recorded the moment when we explained Santa would be coming down the chimney tonight & when Lucas awakes in the morning there will be many presents for him. He jumped up & down with excitement while yelling “yaaaah”! Very special moment we will remember forever.

Time Off
Today was my 1st full day off. For lunch, we picked up a Burger King kids meal with chicken nuggets, apple slices, & french fries. Then, we took a stroller ride around a nearby lake in Fulton Ranch. Lucas was constantly smiling, laughing, & pointing at the very active ducks. Can’t think of a better person to spend my next 2 weeks off with! Soon, Daddy will be on vacation too!!!
You are so cute!
Lots of laughs & fun while we strolled around the lake.
We were only 5 feet away from this gorgeous & large heron (to the right of Lucas in the pic).
Ducks were everywhere!
Breakfast Burrito
Big food success! This morning, the entire family ate breakfast burritos. Lucas’ burrito was made of a flour tortilla stuffed with scrambled eggs & ground turkey sausage. In the past, Lucas would never eat a scrambled egg. Plus, he just ate turkey sausage for the 1st time a few days ago. The sausage texture is new & Lucas is slowly accepting the texture. Most importantly, Lucas didn’t have even one coughing/choking incident while eatting the burrito bites. Actually, he gobbled up the meal!
