Here are some fun pictures from our busy 4th of July weekend. We had just finished dancing to Lucas’ favorite songs of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “The Hokey Pokey” from a kids band called Go Fish. Notice how Lucas is constantly moving and a blur in most pictures.
So incredibly blessed to have been supported in part by Hospitality Homes during our travels to Boston. A first class organization all the way. Would love to see this model spread across the country.
We took our 1st family vacation to San Diego from June 10 – 19. We finally used our vacation time for fun rather than another trip to Boston for a surgery.
San Diego had amazing weather in the mid 70’s. Every day was packed with the beach, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and/or eating out. Lucas loved every second of the trip! In fact, Lucas is such a well behaved boy that we even enjoyed some 4 & 5 star restaurants without a single issue. I’ll admit we did break out YouTube a few times with the Peppa Pig cartoon playing to keep Lucas occupied so we could enjoy dessert before he was about to turn into a pumpkin. 🙂
Dada can’t go a week without visiting CostCo.
Lucas thought the sea lions were “PU”. Ha!
Lucas is still holding his nose.
The next 3 pictures are Lucas’ reaction to feeling an ocean wave for the very 1st time. He was frightened only the 1st time. From that moment on, he loved the waves and even ran towards the waves. He has no fear!
This is the exact same magic store that Bryan visited as a child. Very special moment.
Lucas was a pro at using chopsticks. A customer next to us said Lucas at 3 years old was better with chopsticks than he was. 🙂
Mommy & Lucas both enjoying tasty drinks overlooking the beach. Bryan & I had superb sushi & Lucas loved his chicken nuggets with fries. In fact, after Lucas took his 1st bite of food, he said “yummy, yummy in my tummy”..
